And if you're thinking this series is really, really long, remember that War and Peace, in the Pevear./Volokhonsky translation, comes in at 1,273 pages. Yes, I've been looking for Hadji Murad too, the version translated by Pevear and Volokhonsky. I have read Crime and Punishment, The Brothers Karamazov, and The Idiot, each translated by Richard Pevear and Larissa Volokhonsky.
